Zevir - November

Here it is.
Would have been in earlier if I hadn't gotten the urge to digitalize the sketch.
Derp. I couldn't draw a proper Egeilian face, so I just gave it something vaguely dragon-ish (so, this isn't close to the final specie design, and don't take it as such).

The brown stripe on the left-most picture is how they carry objects - it wraps very tightly around the shoulder area, almost like a backpack.

NOTE: Their main manipulator is their tongue - not shown here. Best comparison I can think of at the moment is that it resembles a fat, fleshy hand with three fat, fleshy fingers.

Which captain is she with: The Bystander Crest, as it gets rid of any communication problems (as it can communicate directly within someone's mind without needing to learn the language first).
Age: 64 years old in her years - because Egeilians live longer than humans, that's about the same as a 33

November's personality:
She is a rather cold, calculating Egeilian to those who don't know her. To those that she trusts/is comfortable with, she is more open, tending to smile, joke around, etc. She hates being in the middle of ranks, as she is fairly indecisive and anxious - if orders are not clear, and she doesn't know the person personally, she tends to overthink them and hesitate, wondering what precisely to do. If given the chance, she can be quite the leader due to her position/workplace. She is loyal and makes a point to follow through on promises and business contracts to the end, if possible (in order to make and keep a reputation). She can grow extremely cross with those who try to cheat her, and will not hesitate to get revenge on those who do. It's very difficult to make her angry, but once someone does, it doesn't die easily.

November was born with quite a few problems with her brain. The re-wiring augmented her learning skills even so much as to classify her as a child, and later on as an adult, prodigy and genius. Other, more unpleasant side effects came along with it, though. Mental problems include an Egeilian equivalent of OCD, anxiety, a lack of empathy, and extreme indecisiveness. She also had the tendency to develop small blood clots in the brain, which almost caused her to die when she was a teen - this problem was fixed with an injection of nanobots, which clear the veins and keep the blood flowing through. Most of the mental side effects were reduced by intensive therapy, provided by her parents, but they can still come back and resurface in highly stressful situations. Her lack of empathy was a problem incurable by therapy. She managed to gain a logical understanding of how people would react to certain situations because of her job position. However, she cannot truly understand how other people would really feel, and this can cause many social problems. November also tends to overplan a lot - because of her anxiety, she tends to assume that everyone is as smart or smarter than her. Obviously, because not everybody is at the same intelligence level, this can cause her plans or predictions to fail occasionally because of her lack of understanding of other people.


History: In the past, she eventually turned to criminal activities. One day she got caught, and was sent off to prison on the asteroid Tuncan. She was, along with the other prisoners, cryogenically frozen and would have remained that way if the High Lord Eos November hadn't come a-calling. He needed an "unofficial" man or women to do "unofficial" surveillance duty and information-gathering missions, and November ended up being picked. To ensure that she didn't attempt to kill him and/or escape, he injected her with special nanobots that would cause blood clots to form everywhere and fill her blood with poison if a) he died, or b) she went out of range or went somewhere without his permission. The contract is a 15-year one. At the end of the 15 years, she is supposed to be let free, although if the High Lord actually will follow through on that or not is yet to be seen.
