Here's a quick list of things I read, in case you're looking for something new. And posting a fanart or two to illustrate it if I can and hey, you might find a new favourite artist?

1) Cucumber Quest - Gorgeous art, great characters, great story, hilarious, and it already has a ton of content, so it's good to settle down with for a couple of days! And updates frequently.

2) Paranatural - This one has the funnest world and Zack is freaking hilarious. Story about schoolkids as they investigate unusual supernatural events around the town of Mayview. It's highly imaginative and I laugh my head off, and he has a great art style as well. Probably my most favourite comic on the webternet.

3) Powernap - The most weird and wonderful odds-and-bits comic I've seen. The faces are so expressive you guys! And the characters and situations are so absurd as to be utterly enchanting. I love it. And lots of interesting ideas to play around with. My other most favourite webcomic on the webternet.

4) Aww Feathers - This is done by my friend :iconinejwstine:. It's a great comic that illustrates those little honest everyday moment in life to a tee. Highly relatable and enjoyable, I was surprised at how much I really love reading it and I'd recommend that you do too!

5) It's a Hard Life - A great Pokemon RB nuzlocke comic. You really get involved and attached to the characters, and the watercolour sketch style's a joy. Dark but has truly happy and sad portions, with plenty of personality. None of that lolsofunny stuff here, a wonderful read.

6)Beyond the Canopy - A cute and funny read with a sweet art style and plenty of creativity, not much else to say here than what's been said! Just starting back up again too, aren't y'all lucky :)

7) Sufficiently Remarkable - This one I just started. It's more on the real side of life (coming of age), very endearing and relatable stories and the art style's great. Lovable characters and some shenanigans in there too all with some good life lessons, it's a lovely read.

No fan/art on DA that I could find but read the comic!

8) Wormworld Saga - What's to say? Grandiose, gorgeous art, strongly reminiscent of childhood fantasty adventure books. Worth it for the art and world alone. They're massive pages, gorgeous eyecandy and a story and world full of wonder.

1. If you had to kill someone, who would it be?
I'd like to go the boring route of saying nobody. I honestly can't think of anyone right now.

2. What's your fav. genre of manga/anime?
Genre? Probably sci-fi.

3. Loki or Thor?
Loki haha.

4. Favorite movie?
Up is the only movie that comes to mind.

5. Cats or dogs?
Although I do love cats, I'd have to say dogs. Big hunks of loveable loyal piles of fur. Although I've never owned a cat, so that's also a influencing factor.

6. What is your greatest fear?
Most likely dying in a plane crash, followed by living in a malfunctioning plane. A stupid irrational fear that I can't seem to shake.

7. What's your murder plan?
Le poison.

8. Who's your favorite musician (legit or internet)?
I have no favorite musician really, but my favorite album of music has to be the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity OST. It's the most gorgeous, most beautiful music I've ever heard.

9. Who's your favorite artist on DA?
That's a hard one. Art-wise, probably :iconabiogenisis: and :iconmalicious-monkey: I adore their Xenobiology pieces!

10. Favorite day of the year?
First day of school and last day of school, probably.

Also, I realize that I haven't notified anyone on this account yet, but if you're a fan of pokemon stuff I have an alternate account where I post all of it. You can find me over at :iconalliusis:

Yep, you've probably already cleared twenty of these from your message box. Who cares, here is another!

I hope it's been a good day for you! It has been over here, anyway.

I ended up getting plenty of clothes (I was in desperate need of more, haha) and a ridiculous amount of pokemon cards. Somewhere in the range of 12-15 packs! Also, lucky me - not only did I get TWO fullart Terrakions, I also got two White Kyurems (gave one to my brother), a Keldeo EX, and a fullart Registeel! It was great, haha.

My brother is really jealous of the Fullart Registeel, though, and I felt terrible telling him that I didn't want to trade it. He practically laid out all of the pokemon cards he got (including his Garchomp, Virizion, and Victini, three very special cards to him) in hopes of trading for it. I might just give it to him anyway ;-; I don't know what to do.

My sister in Vancouver also sent me a Kobo. I can't even express the surprise and gratitude I felt - she lives in the most expensive city in North America, and still sent us all of these wonderful gifts! Other things include an amethyst pendant and a chapter's gift card. And she wrote the most beautiful card, too.

And then dinner! Ah, it was delicious. Turkey and potatoes and stuffing and salad. I could live on this stuff. Lots of leftovers!

Downside is that my tablet stopped working. My sister's little demon dog chewed the cable apart.

How was yours?

:iconsunstategalleries: is having a contest! It has great prizes and a fun prompt, but no entries yet, so get to it!

EDIT: Since I made this post, I thought I might as well say that I successfully finished at 50,065 words. Yeah!

And here's the general synopsis of what I wrote:

There is an interspecies war raging on Arerin. The Torlians that live there, sentient beings from a moon in the same solar system, have been fighting against the Egeilians for resources on a resource-depleted planet. No one knows who is leading this mass uprising. And no one knows what stance their home planet will take in the end.

Colonel Altia Oronus, a well-respected and brilliant military Egeilian, expects a relatively quiet life after being reposted to a mountain outpost far to the north. A total insomniac, her sleep deprivation has limited her effectiveness in the battle field and has apparently doomed her to a uneventful existence.

All of that changes when her scouts discover an unconscious High Lord Alliusis Tesday, an extremely high-ranking Torlian that had gone missing three weeks prior when he had landed on Arerin.

Now Altia, along with the High Lord, is chased from city, to continent, and to planet by a mysterious foe who has a much more sinister goal than just obtaining resources. After several surprising and disturbing events, it all raises the question: who is this mysterious person behind the war, and what does he want?
(That last part is tentative and is there just as a place holder, in case you couldn't tell - I never actually got there in my writing, haha, so generic undescriptive end will have to do).

I'm at 41,000 words as I type this. Very happy, since I wan't planning on doing this until the day before the first of November.
